John Park playfully pulled off the dandy look as he recently took part in filming a CF for the cosmetic brand, Orbis. A reporter from Vogue Girl sat down with the singer during the shoot and asked him about his experiences and social adjustments to Korean society so far.
John Park revealed through the interview, “I’m taking extra precautions with making physical contact in Korea. Because I grew up in a foreign country, it is very intuitive for me to make physical contact; but when I hug people, they are surprised and misunderstand my actions, so I’m trying to cut down on that lately.”
“I’m also very self-conscience of the ‘O legs’ while on TV,“ he said. “I didn’t really think about it before, but people reprimanded my posture whenever I went on live programs, so I’m trying to correct that as well.”
As for the most entertaining acquaintance he’s met so far, John chose the outrageous singer Psy. The singer recalled, “I was greeting him at a music program and he responded, ‘Woah~ it’s John Park! Awesome!’. His cheerful response made me really happy. I will definitely perform with Psy, regardless of the wardrobe or performance.”
John Park also recently participated with the other top 4 contestants of ‘Superstar K2‘ in a Vogue photoshoot. The concept centered around showcasing their individual charisma, while in a cohesive group. This is their first joint pictorial since ‘Superstar K2′, and the staff was thrilled at the unique bond and synergy between the four singers. The collaboration photos will also include an interview giving insight to the individuals’ opinion of “Superstar K2″.
